Hambridge 1 Curry Mallet 2

Hambridge opened their football season with a spirited but unfortunate defeat at home to Curry Mallet.

George topped off an excellent display in midfield with a well taken equaliser after Curry had taken the lead inside the first 45 seconds.

The game could have gone either away with both teams having excellent chances. Despite a strong display including a point blank save with his face Jack in the Hambridge goal was unable to stop Curry as they scored the decisive goal that won the game.

Well played everyone.

Hambridge are next in action on Monday @ Home to Middlezoy & Othery.

Reds comeback to snatch World Domination Title

Red house have been crowned the Hambridge World Domination Champions.

All four houses were keen to win and take the title. Each team was made up of children from across Key Stage 2 and the action was non stop.

Unfortunately Yellow house were the first to drop out having lost all of their lives in quick succession. Blues soon followed narrowly losing their last life. That left Reds and Greens. Reds were the underdogs going into the final showdown with only one life left. The Greens has three.

But in an amazing turn around and some great defensive work the Reds prevailed to take the title and the 50 house points on offer.

Well played Reds.
