Match Report - Football - Hambridge v Huish Episcopi

Hambridge against Huish primary school.  The match kicked off at 4.30pm.  Hambridge started with amazing play shots here and there until Huish had a chance at goal but Finn put a stop to that. Finn cleared it and it went straight to Thomas who took a touch and absolutely banged it top bins amazing goal. Huish took kick off and Thomas and Dem where straight in and on the ball doing one twos up the pitch until they got to the goal and Dem did one pass and It went to Thomas and he placed it bottom corner stunning finish by Thomas.

Thomas went straight to the ball with the rest of the team behind him including Josh the keeper. Then when he was write next to the goal he passed to Dem who took a first time shot but it hit the post and luckily went to Thomas who laced it crossbar and in. Then the half time whistle blow.

Match Report - Netball - Hambridge v High Ham

The first netball win of the year!!!

When we got there went straight to the court and started to warm up. We weren’t on till the second game so we just watched and discussed tactics. Our first game was against High Ham. We got off to a great start and that carried on with everyone helping to get the ball to the net. There were some great players on both teams and it was really fun. We ended up winning 7:1. Alex scored the first goal. Then Annabelle scored a couple before Lily scored one near to the end.
Well played girls.

We've done it!

For the second year running we have gained the Gold award from School Games.

The award recognises the schools commitment to sport and fitness.

Thank you to everyone who has played a part.

From the staff who teach the PE and run the clubs to you the parents who come along and support the children at every event thank you.

Most of all a massive thank you to all the children for consistently raising the bar and diving head first into sport at Hambridge.

Here is to another fine year of sport.
